Business of ‘Toxic’ affected by controversy!
The trailer for the film ‘Toxic’, starring Yash, has sparked controversy.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features an ensemble cast of female leads, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. The music has been composed by a trio—Ravi Basrur, Vishal Mishra, and Tanishk. Produced by KVN Productions, the film is set to hit screens on August 26.
The trailer has now been released, and it is rife with graphic violence, featuring blood and gore. With its mix of obscenity, gunfire, the sound of bullets, and wailing, the trailer is truly jarring.
Yash plays dual roles in the film, appearing as both the hero and the villain. While the Tamil dubbing—specifically the synchronization of dialogue and voice—leaves something to be desired, fans are questioning the necessity of such excessive bloodshed and violence. The trailer makes it clear that the film is certainly not suitable for family viewing.
It is said that the toxic trade has been affected by this controversy!
